New Mown Meadow (The)

I learned The New Mown Meadow from the playing of Terry Bingham. It is a great reel that suits C#/D accordion players very well in particular and it is also quite common to hear this tune in A minor. I associate “The New Mown Meadow” with the playing of Seamus Begley and Steve Cooney as well, who recorded it on their legendary Meitheal album back in 1996.
